No I think what Syds saying is the forum phenomenum of people who post the most often come across as being the most knowledgable, whereas in fact they might just not forum much . Take Ernie or the Majotr, both veritable mines of info regarding our hobby , but neither post a lot , as opposedot me woh posts all the time and knows feck all .

Anyways I concur, however in any medium one would be foolish to just take it as read that anyone knows everything and if someone is interested in airsoft, reenacting, macrame and cross stitching (I heard whispers about some of you lads at CR ) I'm sure there are many on here that registered and do not post that could be a veritable minefield of information had they chose to participate, much as there are those whose access to the net is limit and may miss topics where there input would be fruitful (as you said Ernie and Major) by which point the subject has moved on.
The only thing my post count shows is that I get very bored and post a lot of drivel

I usually log in when i get into the office, then every time i get a moment hit refresh, see if any1 has posted anything relevant and get posting myself! Always on call to offer any advice etc!

I'm with JD7 on this one - I like this forum because it IS an interesting and entertaining mix of friendly chitter chatter, light-hearted banter and ****-taking, hints/tips/advice and information relating to the hobby/sport.
I've visited other forums where the vast majority of the content is predominantly 'off topic', nay more, not even vaguely related to the core interest - just a load of people making small talk - which gets a bit dull if you don't feel part of the clique -
